Sous la neige

Under the snow, présenté par emoragei magazine, première édition du festival qui débute ce jeudi le 4 mars jusqu'au 6. Je serai là 3 soirs pour voir plusieurs artistes que je connais déjà et d'autre que j'espère découvrir. Les billets sont en vente présentement à un prix dérisoire donc pourquoi se priver, si vous êtes curieux en musique.

En espérant que l'appuis sera là pour avoir une deuxième édition l'an prochain.

Under the snow festival, presented by emoragei magazine, first edition opening thurday night march 4th 'till 6 with great local artists. The festival will be held at La Casa Del Popolo and La Salla Rossa. I'll be there for 3 nights and i'm expecting to have a good time, and discover some new artists maybe as well. It's like a dream come true for me, all theses great bands i'm being listening to theses past months (years), and now to see them all live in a festival formula, this is pretty cool I must say.

Review of the weekend

I was afflicted with a kind of virus this weekend. So i've been dancin' between my bed and my computer. What a borin' weekend, I wanted to go to Festival Montréal En Lumière, instead I stayed home. Next weekend I hope I'll be ok to go to Under the snow festival. I'll talk to you about that later.

So saturday night I watched a DVD, SpongeBob Squarepants the movie. And it was great. So few movies made me laugh that much, but as some of you already know, I'm soldout to the yellow sponge guy. A movie that is able to make me laugh alone at home is a good movie. So two thumbs up to SpongeBob and Patrick! WHOOooUuuuuu OUUuuu!

And sunday, i've been disapointed by Napoleon Dynamite. Maybe I had too much expectation after watching the trailer. Man, that was boring! No story at all, the movie is more like little cut scenes that you put together and it's supposed to be a funny movie. Only good point, the DVD menus are well made and really original. So if you're still curious and want to watch the trailer go this way.

Podcast

Depuis que j'ai entendu les premières phrases de ses Podcasts, j'ai eut la picure. J'ai alors commencé à fouiner sur des sites d'informations et aussi l'article dans le Wired Magazine sur le sujet. Mon intérêt pour la communication, la radio et la musique se sont convergé vers cette alternative très intéressante de pouvoir faire un émission de radio avec des moyens réduit et de qualité plus qu'acceptable diffusé sur Internet.

Il ne reste qu'à mettre en place mon "setting" et je vais commencer à diffuser mon premier podcast dans les semaines à venir. Ça va me permettre aussi de me pratiquer avant de postuler pour CISM.
