Festival SPASM 2005

Le festival SPASM 2005 a commencé sa semaine hier par le lancement du DVD compilant les meilleurs court-métrages québecois d'horreur.

Shadow of the colossus

Looks like Shadow Of The Colossus will (maybe) be this year event in video games. Original gameplay where you have to save a princess (classic) from dying but to do so you have to find 16 giant colossus in this massive virtual world and bring them down. You have a horse, a sword and a bow... looks like a real challenging game where action adventure meet puzzle games.

So I'm really excited to try this marvellous game and I will probably talk about it later.

PSP blanche pour le japon

La version blanche de la PSP est disponible au Japon. Sony n'a pas encore parlé de sortie Nord Américaine. Jolie et surement que les taches de doigts sont moins apparente sur le nouveau boitier.

I fell in love with this DVD Magazine. Yeah you read me, DVD Magazine for designer, publicists, students in graphic design. With each DVD you get a really well done booklet of all the clips on the disc. The DVD's loaded with animation, pubs, VFX, short films, video clips, etc. Some are pure genious but you'll get some "ok" stuff too.

By the way it's really and I mean really expensive. Its a shit load of money if you're not related to the industry like myself. So a friend of mine just suscribe and we split the cost (70/30) and I keep the originals.

Dude I can't wait for the next issue.

Sigur Ròs - Takk

Sigur Ròs releasing there new album Takk (meaning Thanks) in north america today. Unfortunatly the show on september 16th at the Theatre Maisonneuve is already sold out.

And if you're still asking yourself why did they put the headphone jack on the bottom :

Most are, well, rather gushing, but if you dig around you’ll find a few valid criticisms, like that Apple was forced to put the headphone jack at the bottom of the player to make room for the display up top.
